Refund policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with us. If something doesn't meet your expectations, you always have rights under Swedish law — and we do our best to make the process simple.
Right of Withdrawal (Private Customers)
According to the Distance Contracts Act, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the date you received the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Contact us via email before returning anything.
- Return the goods within 14 days after notifying us.
- The goods must be in original condition – unused, with all labels, packaging, and any protective plastic intact.
For withdrawals, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend tracked shipping, as you as the customer are responsible for the goods until they reach us.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
For hygienic, safety, or legal reasons, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Sex toys (even unopened if the packaging has been broken)
- Food, coffee, tea, and other consumables
- Opened cosmetic products or scented candles
- Electronics or products that have been installed/used
- Goods with broken seals that cannot be resold for hygiene or health reasons
- Custom-made products or personalized orders
We always follow the Swedish Consumer Agency's guidelines on these matters.
Refunds
Once we have received and approved your return, we will refund the price of the goods to the same payment method you used at purchase. Refunds are normally processed within 14 days after we receive the goods.
Any shipping costs paid at purchase will not be refunded if only part of the order is returned.
Complaints and Defective Goods
If a product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will of course cover the return shipping costs. Contact us within a reasonable time (no later than 2 months after discovering the defect) with photos of the product and packaging, and a brief description.
You always have the right to make a complaint for up to 3 years according to the Consumer Sales Act. For approved complaints, we offer repair, replacement, or refund, depending on what is most reasonable.
How to Return an Item
- Contact us via info@darkroseemporium.com and provide your order number and reason for return.
- We will send instructions for the return address and any return form.
- Pack the item well so it is not damaged during transport.
- Send with tracked shipping if you are responsible for the return.
